PMC Brightens LifeHouse Dining Room with New Chairs
– July 2026
PMC has donated a full set of new white chairs to LifeHouse, transforming the look and feel of the charity’s community space as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting local causes. The donation replaces LifeHouse’s old seating with fresh, matching white chairs across the venue, a small change that staff say has made a big difference. In a note to the PMC team, LifeHouse’s Mike, Angie and Bev thanked Steve, Cozette and the wider team, writing that the new chairs have had “a dramatic brightening effect on the whole room.”
“We wanted to thank you profusely for the excellent, new, white chairs you have bought and delivered to us,” the note read. “Here’s a couple of photos showing the dramatic brightening effect they have on the whole room! Do come and see the effect when you’re next passing!”

The new chairs are the latest step in a long-standing partnership between PMC and LifeHouse. Over the years, PMC’s support has included four major venue transformations, each aimed at enhancing the space and making it more welcoming and user-friendly for both the clients LifeHouse supports and the staff who work there. “It’s exactly this kind of impact we hope for when we support organisations like LifeHouse,” said Steve Cripps, Managing Director, PMC. “Seeing the space transformed, and knowing how much it means to the team and the people they support, is what makes this work worthwhile.”

PMC’s involvement with LifeHouse goes beyond funding and refurbishment. Twice a year, staff volunteers spend a day at LifeHouse cooking breakfast for clients, a hands-on tradition the team looks forward to and one that reflects PMC’s wider commitment to building genuine, ongoing relationships with the communities it serves.
