Project Details

A development of 26 affordable homes. Houses are arranged in clusters within semi-private courtyards. This careful composition allows each dwelling to have a street entrance which makes the street more active and improves legibility.

Building to Passivhaus standards will ensure homes are low on energy consumption by providing a building envelope with excellent thermal performance as well as extreme air tightness. The scheme won the best sustainable scheme at the 2015 National Housing Awards. The award is for the best affordable home ownership development that demonstrates the contribution to building environmentally sustainable homes.
